Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Majed bin Mohamed al-Ansari announced Qatar's call to disregard media reports attempting to cast doubt and level accusations against the ongoing mediation efforts to halt the aggression in Gaza.
Dr al-Ansari emphasised the need for focus during this sensitive time on ways to end the war in the Gaza Strip. The official said that Qatar's joint mediation efforts with Egypt and the US are ongoing, affirming that the three countries are working in full coordination to achieve an immediate and lasting ceasefire in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners and hostages, which would lead to the establishment of peace, security, and stability in the region.
