The Hamilton International School, Doha, part of International Schools Partnership (ISP), has been accredited as an IB World School, and will offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme starting in September 2024 for Grade 11 students, a statement said.

Terry Senior, founding principal of The Hamilton International School, said: “At The Hamilton International School, we are focused on igniting a passion in our students that will encourage them to discover their purpose and realise their limitless potential. This is why we are so thrilled to have received our IBDP authorisation. An IB learner at Hamilton is encouraged to think critically, develop strong principles, engage with a global audience and be more culturally aware and open-minded. Along with academic excellence, the IB Diploma Programme equips students with valuable life skills to support them with their future pathways.”

In addition to the global authorisation, The Hamilton International School has also received the Qatar National School Accreditation (QNSA), granted by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education's Private Schools Evaluation Department. Qatari families can now benefit from educational vouchers for The Hamilton International School starting September 2024.

With the starting of its IB diploma programme and the QNSA accreditation, the school has enhanced their scholarship programme to include a number of special academic scholarships, providing up to 75% of the tuition fees for students who show strength in various subject areas. Early bird offers are also available throughout the school, for those parents wishing to pay the 2024 – 2025 tuition fees now.

Rory Galvin, director of learning, ISP – Middle East said: "The recent endorsement of The Hamilton International School for the IBDP underscores ISP's commitment to providing world-class educational pathways. This authorisation not only offers students an additional route alongside attaining an accredited High School Diploma, but also ensures our families have a broad spectrum of options for their child's future. The IBDP Programme is embedded within ISP's Five Pillars of Academic Excellence, International Learning Opportunities, Future Pathways, Multilingualism, and Life Competencies.”

The Hamilton International School has a state-of-the-art, purpose-built campus.
