The Qatar Scholarships Programme celebrated the graduation of 96 students in the spring of 2024, from various developing countries, specialising in a number of diverse fields of study at partner universities such as the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies and Lusail University.
During the graduation ceremony held Monday, the graduates communicated effectively with staff and classmates, as the meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen their constructive relationships and exchange expertise and experiences.
In her opening speech, Manager of Project and Programme Department at the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) Nouf Mohamed Al-Kaabi emphasised the significance of such achievement and investing in future leaders as active individuals in making global change for the better.
The ceremony was marked by an interactive workshop presented by Dr Evren Tok, associate professor and co-ordinator of the Master of Arts in Islam and Global Affairs programme at the College of Islamic Studies at Hamad Bin Khalifa University. The ceremony witnessed students sharing their personal journeys and inspiring experiences.
Qatar Scholarship Programme and the QFFD are committed to expanding access to quality education and empowering future leaders to drive positive change in their communities and beyond, as the programme represents an important point in their journey to become future leaders.
