On May 6, the occupation forces announced the start of a military operation in Rafah and the next day they controlled the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing, and prevented the delivery of humanitarian aid and the exit of sick and injured people from the Strip to receive treatment abroad, according to (WAFA) news agency.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that one million citizens were forced to forcibly flee from the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip during the past three weeks due to the violent bombing of the city.
The occupation forces continue their aggression against the city of Rafah, despite the orders of the International Court of Justice, last Friday, for Israel to immediately stop its attack on Rafah.
The toll of the aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 36,096 martyrs, the majority of whom are children and women, and 81,136 injured, since Oct. 7.
Thousands of people remain under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
