Souq Waqif in association with the Indian embassy is organising a 10-day Indian Mango Festival or Al-Hamba Exhibition from Thursday at the Eastern Square of Souq Waqif.

The festival, to be inaugurated Thursday at 4.30pm, will welcome visitors daily from 4pm to 9pm until June 8, a statement from the embassy said.

The festival will feature an extensive display and sale of numerous types of Indian mangoes and mango products by Indian importers, exporters, restaurants, and cafes.

Visitors will have the opportunity to sample and purchase some of the most renowned mango varieties from India, including Rajapuri, Malgova, Neelam, Alphonso, Kesar, Badami, Mallika, Imam Pasand, Kalapadi, Totapuri, Senthooram, and many more.

The festival will also offer a wide range of mango products, such as mango ice cream, juices, pickles, cakes, and various other food items prepared using mangoes, along with a selection of fresh seasonal fruits from India.
