The medical clinics of the Qatari Haj Mission in Makkah have obtained a licence to open them from the competent medical authorities in the Saudi Ministry of Health.
Dr Khaled Abdel Hadi, head of the medical unit in the Qatari Haj Mission, said that the unit completed all medical arrangements and equipment for the clinics.
Abdel Hadi added that the medical staff accompanying the mission have all obtained a licence to provide comprehensive medical care starting from the pilgrims arrival in the holy lands until their safe return to the homeland after performing the Haj.
The head of the medical unit noted that additional contracts had been signed with the private Makkah Park Hospital, which is located near the residence of Qatari pilgrims to serve the country's pilgrims in emergency cases, in addition to contracting with other private hospitals in the Makkah Towers overlooking the Holy Mosque to treat cases that require hospitalisation.
