The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the shooting attack that targeted the United States Embassy in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, and resulted in the injury of one of the Embassys guards.
In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatars firm position on rejecting violence, terrorism and criminal acts, regardless of the motives and reasons. The Ministry also stressed the importance of providing the necessary protection to all diplomatic missions and their staff as they are among the pillars of the international system.
The Ministry expressed the State of Qatar's wishes of a speedy recovery for the injured.
