Qatar has strongly condemned the Israeli occupations bombing of a school affiliated with the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), housing displaced persons in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, which led to the death and injury of dozens, including children and women.
It considered it a horrific massacre, a brutal crime against defenceless civilians, and a blatant violation of Principles of international law and international humanitarian law.
In a statement Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed Qatar's demand for an urgent international investigation that includes sending independent UN investigators to investigate the facts regarding the Israeli occupation forces continued targeting of schools and shelters for displaced persons, calling at the same time on the international community to provide full protection for the displaced, and to prevent the occupation forces from implementing their plans. aiming to force them to forcibly move from the Gaza Strip.
