Birla Public School's (BPS) Primary I and II campuses organised the investiture ceremony 2024-25 and inducted the newly elected Student Council members.
Director C V Rappai, management representative Chindhu Antony, principal Dr Anand Nair, vice principals Radhika Rele and Edna Fernandez, Primary headmistresses Anu Thomas and Shruti Boodle, and other officials were present.
The proceedings commenced with a prayer song by the Primary I Choir under the guidance of Gifta followed by Qatar and Indian national anthems.
The Primary II Choir performed a song by Gary Barlow and the commonwealth band under the guidance of Geneikam. The principal administered the oath to all new leaders of the Student Council who were invested by the board members and the school leadership team. The parents of the Student Council Members were also invited.
The school captains, Vaiga Renjith and Sneha Narangoli highlighted the importance of leadership, emphasising values such as integrity, commitment and teamwork. They also shared their vision for the upcoming academic year. The programme culminated with the sports captains, Aarnav Premjith and Aaniya Arijum proposing a vote of thanks.
