Qatar secured a spot in the final of the Asian Volleyball Challenge Cup after overcoming Kazakhstan 3-1 (25-16, 19-25, 25-19, and 25-16) in Isa Town, Bahrain, on Saturday. In today’s final, Qatar will face Pakistan, who defeated South Korea 3-1 (25-22, 24-26, 25-22, 25-22) in the other semi-final. In the classification matches, Bahrain secured seventh place by defeating Australia 25-17, 25-22, and 25-20. China took fifth place by beating Vietnam 25-19, 25-21, 26-28, and 25-21. The losing semi-finalists, South Korea and Kazakhstan, will compete today in the third place play-off.
