HEC Paris, one of the world’s top-ranked business schools, recently held its annual graduation ceremony at the institution’s main campus in Jouy-en-Josas, Paris.
The two-day event held on June 7 and 8, celebrated the achievements of 2,303 graduates including 1,350 graduates of Master and PhD programmes and 953 graduates of MBA, Executive MBA, Executive Master's and Global Executive Masters in Management programmes.
This year’s graduating class counts 147 individuals from the Middle East, including 77 from the Doha cohorts, with 60% being Qatari nationals and 57% being women.
The Saudi cohorts includes 70 graduates, 87% of whom are Saudi nationals, with over a quarter (27%) being women. The graduating classes were notably diverse, encompassing participants from across the GCC and Middle East, as well as from Europe, Asia, and the US.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including Dr Eloïc Peyrache, director general and dean of HEC Paris, Dr Pablo Martin de Holan, dean of HEC Paris in Qatar, faculty members, and management representatives. Also present were numerous guests, including family members and friends of the graduating class, as well as representatives of HEC Paris’ corporate partners, alumni and diplomats.
Since establishing a regional presence in Qatar in 2010 under the umbrella of Qatar Foundation, HEC Paris has delivered world-class business education to over 1,000 participants from across the Gulf region.
