Scarpetta, with its legendary Italian dining straight from New York, transported me back home with its authentic flavors, surpassing even my fondest memories. Sushi Samba offers a delightful fusion of sushi and Latin flavors. Their Matcha Tres Leches dessert, a brilliant blend of Japanese and Latin influences, was a standout, evoking cherished memories of my abuela’s cooking and my time in Japan, while also celebrating the authenticity of true matcha.

Highmore, under the expert management of Wlodek, quickly became my favorite bar and sunset lounge in the Middle East. The experience here transcends that of a typical bar, with its captivating art, stunning interiors, and the magical ambiance created by the setting sun. The Negroni and incredible pizzas were highlights that I savored while basking in the beauty of the surroundings.
Adding to the unique luxury of this palace on the beach is their collaboration with David Webb Jewelry for an exclusive afternoon tea event. This fusion of David Webb’s timeless sophistication and the hotel’s refined hospitality takes place in the elegant Peacock Alley lounge. For a limited time, guests can indulge in delectable treats inspired by his iconic jewelry designs. The experience offers a tasteful immersion, with sweets, bites, and pastries mirroring Webb’s intricate gold textures, captivating animal motifs, and stunning enamel and crystal works.
