Awsaj Academy, a member of Qatar Foundation (QF), hosted a graduation ceremony to celebrate the 324 graduates of the Prime Programme Class of 2024. The event at the Qatar National Convention Centre, brought together students, families, and faculty.

The Prime Programme is an evening initiative by Awsaj Academy designed to support high school students with learning difficulties in both public and private schools, with the goal of enriching their educational experience and guiding them toward lifelong success.

The ceremony, attended by Abeer al-Khalifa, head of Pre-University Education, QF, marked a significant milestone for students. Mark Hughes, the executive director, Special Schools & SEN Services QF, said: "The role of the Prime Programme has not been limited to providing knowledge and skills, but has also extended to building our students’ self-confidence, belief in their abilities, and pride in their achievements."

Iman al-Meer, one of the Prime Programme graduates, said: "I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for the journey that has led us to this moment. For me, attending Awsaj Academy has been nothing short of transformative. It provided me with the opportunity to thrive in an environment that values individuality and fosters growth."

"I learned not only academic subjects, but also invaluable life lessons,” she continued. “I learned the importance of resilience in the face of challenges, the power of collaboration, and the beauty of embracing diversity, understanding that our differences are our greatest strength."
