Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) announced today that it has signed a sports partnership agreement with ASICS, the leading Japanese sportswear company, to produce the apparel for the Qatari team participating in the upcoming Summer Olympic Games in Paris 2024.

The partnership agreement was signed by Director of Marketing and International Cooperation at the QOC Sheikha Asma bint Thani Al-Thani, and General Manager of ASICS in the Middle East Seiji Hori.

Under this agreement, ASICS will be responsible for producing an innovative, sustainable, and diverse range of clothing for the Qatari team, specifically designed for official competitions and training sessions during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The uniforms for the Qatari administrative and athletic delegation will feature the distinctive maroon color representing the Qatari national flag.

Sheikha Asma bint Thani Al-Thani expressed her delight at signing the partnership agreement with ASICS, stating, "Our primary goal in signing this agreement is to highlight our upcoming participation and reaffirm our role as a leading nation in organizing international sporting events."

For his part Seiji Hori expressed belief in the power of sport to inspire people and enhance their physical and mental health, voicing pride in supporting Qatar's athletes on their journey to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
