Renowned Pakistani poet, writer, philanthropist and social worker engineer Tauqir Ahmed Sharifi, accompanied by Pakistan Arts Society - Qatar general secretary Adeel Akbar, visited Pak Shamaa School and College (PSS) recently.
He met with management committee president M A Shahid and principal Nabila Kaukab and was briefed about the school's various achievements in academics and extra-curricular activities. In a discussion with a panel of senior teachers to discuss the contemporary trends of educational experiences, it was agreed that modern techniques will better guide students.
Sharifi presented a copy of his newly released poetry collection to the school library. Principal presented him a certificate of appreciation. Author of five Urdu poetry collections, he is an electrical engineer by profession, and is working for a multinational company since 1974.
