The livestock heads slaughtered at both Al Rayyan and Al Wakra slaughterhouses at the first day of Eid al-Adha amounted to 3,249.
These included 3,209 heads of sheep, 36 cows and four camels.
From all these, 33 kgs of meat were destroyed by the concerned veterinary supervisors for not being fit for human consumption.
