The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) continues its activities on Eid Al Adha amid a remarkable turnout.

Katara saw a large turnout for its various activities, as a large number of families from various Gulf countries attended to enjoy the various activities.

A number of visitors expressed their admiration for Katara as a distinctive cultural and tourist destination in the State of Qatar, in addition to the distinctive events and activities it offers that are popular with the public.

The Eid Al-Adha activities, directed to various age groups, included the play "Garden of Dreams", heritage paintings of the Qatari parade on Katara Corniche, a group of theatrical performances inspired by the cultural heritage of a number of countries from Asia and Africa, including China, Syria, Morocco, and Jordan. The activities also included various artistic workshops directed at children and a live drawing event in front of the audience.

The activities include Edya (Eid gift) hand out, which will be handed out to children and families inside their vehicles at certain points throughout Katara Streets. First distribution point is located at Katara Southern Entrance near building 41, and the second point is located near Al Gannas Qatari Society building.

Furthermore, arts workshops have attracted many children, as a good number of parents expressed their appreciation for the efforts exerted by Katara to engage and entertain their children in a creative manner. The workshop covered various crafts and skills that help children exercise their creative skills. Besides, building 12 hosted a number of online and e-games that helped fans of such games to live an atmosphere of excitement and adventure.

Tuesday evening witnessed the conclusion of the dazzling fireworks displays that decorated Katara's sky and attracted a large number of visitors.
