The European Union on Friday approved launching talks with Ukraine and Moldova on joining the EU, according to the announcement of the current presidency of the bloc.
In a statement, the periodical presidency of the European bloc said the EU member states agreed to launch the negotiations of Ukraine Moldova on joining the bloc next Tuesday.
But to begin the negotiations the bloc's members still had to sign off on a formal framework for the process.
