The “Hour and Hour” programme held a number of cultural and entertaining activities over four days on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, in co-operation with the management of Al Hazm.

“Hour and Hour” chief executive Tamani al-Yafei said in a statement that many diverse activities and training workshops were presented.

Workshops on drawing for children, henna, the Qatari Ardha segment, the Katatib (Writings), and cultural competitions witnessed a large turnout from children.

Al-Yafei said that the participation in Eid al-Adha activities came within the framework of the programme’s keenness to consolidate the authentic Qatari heritage through cultural and artistic visions, in co-operation with the relevant authorities in the country, with the aim of strengthening the partnership with various community institutions.

She praised the success of the cultural and heritage events presented by the “Hour and Hour” programme in co-operation with some entities, the most recent of which was the “Hayya Beya and Eid al-Adha” event, at the Abdullah Lahdan Al Muhannadi Museum in co-operation with the Qatari Media Centre and with the participation of Al Khor Model School for Boys and Al Dhakhira Primary School for Girls.

The “Hour and Hour” programme is continuing its series of purposeful community participation, organising events and activities in fields, including cultural, social, educational, health, charitable, volunteer and heritage related activities, with a greater focus on the education and sports sectors.
