The Israeli occupation genocide in the Gaza Strip has slaughtered 27,000 students, 15,000 of whom were of school age, said the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education.A ministry statement said 12,000 of the victims were enrolled in various higher education institutions, adding the onslaught also claimed over 800 public education workers and about 150 scientists, academics.The ministry confirmed that the Israeli aggression injured more than 50,000 male and female students, some of whom were injured more than once, which caused many of them permanent disabilities including amputation of limbs, paralysis, head and limb injuries and loss of senses.Based on this, the ministry expects a more than five-fold increase in the number of students with special needs in its schools, the statement read, estimating the education sector losses at more than $ 3 billion.
