The Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation (QBSF) announced that Qatar will host the Ten-Ball Billiards World Cup for the next five successive years, starting December until 2028.Mohamed al-Ramzani, President of QBSF, and Ishun Seng, President of the International Billiards Federation, signed an agreement towards the same on Thursday. Soon after, al-Ramzani expressed happiness on Qatar hosting the tournament, stressing the readiness of QBSF to host the competitions scheduled beginning December 5 to 14, 2024.He added that the event will be hosted for five consecutive years in Qatar and will witness the participation of more than 256 players from 50 countries.President of the International Billiards Federation also expressed delight at Qatar hosting the major event.He also praised the distinguished Qatari role in developing the sport of billiards and other sports globally. He pointed out that the 10-ball Billiards World Cup is one of the strongest tournaments, especially in light of the distinct incentives it offers the players participating.
