Qatar Chamber first vice-chairman Mohammed bin Towar al-Kuwari met on Tuesday with Manuel Couto Miranda, the representative of the Portuguese Trade and Investment Agency, in the chamber’s Doha headquarters.The meeting, which was held in the presence of Portuguese ambassador Paulo Neves Pocinho, discussed ways to enhance bilateral co-operation, focusing on the investment climate of Qatar and Portugal, available investment opportunities, and the potential for boosting mutual investments.The discussions also explored the establishment of joint ventures between Qatari and Portuguese business owners, in either country, as well as ways to develop bilateral trade.Furthermore, the meeting reviewed the possibility of organising reciprocal visits for Qatari and Portuguese business delegations to gain a broader understanding of available investment and trade opportunities and to enhance co-operation between the business sectors of both countries.
