As part of Hamad Medical Corporation’s (HMC) commitment to continuously improving services offered to patients and the community, appointment booking services for clinical imaging has been added to the 16060 Nesma’ak Customer Service helpline.

The 16060 Nesma’ak helpline offers access to services such as booking, checking, rescheduling or cancelling an appointment, preponing existing appointments, submitting feedback, queries related to MyHealth Patient Portal, and general inquiries about HMC services.

Nasser al-Naimi, chief of Patient Experience at HMC and director of Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute said the move was designed to make accessing HMC’s services as convenient as possible.

“We have always made it our goal to hear what our patients have to say. Understanding our patients' priorities helps us to consistently enhance the services we provide in HMC as we establish a culture of person-centred care throughout the organisation,” al-Naimi said. “By adding the clinical imaging appointment booking to the 16060 customer service helpline, we will be in a better position to support and respond to the needs of our patients and the public.”

The continued enhancement of the 16060 Nesma’ak helpline aligns with the Third National Development Strategy 2024-2030 by helping to provide for quality of life for all through excellence in healthcare.

Commenting on this new development, Dr Amal al-Obaidli, chairperson of Clinical Imaging Department at HMC noted that many patients who need clinical imaging appointment will benefit from this service.

“The convenience and accessibility of booking an appointment will undeniably improve patient experience. We urge patients to use the helpline 16060 customer service helpline to manage their upcoming appointments at HMC facilities,” she said.

Patients can now receive customer service assistance anytime of the day when they call 16060. The 16060 Nesma’ak Customer Service helpline is now available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
