France voted on Sunday in a parliamentary run-off election, with opinion polls forecasting the far-right National Rally (RN) will win the most votes.
Voting will continue until this evening in major cities, with preliminary results expected thereafter. A high voter turnout is anticipated, matching the 66.7 percent recorded in the first round.
Voters in the archipelago of Saint Pierre and Miquelon in the North Atlantic, as well as in French Guiana, the Antilles, Polynesia, and New Caledonia in the South Pacific, cast their votes yesterday.
