A massive fire broke out in a factory in the Australian city of Melbourne, Wednesday morning, as a result of a chemical explosion.

Firefighters rushed to the scene of the fire in the suburb of Derrimut in Melbourne to combat the rising flames, as thick black smoke covered the sky of the area.

Local media reported that more than 30 fire trucks were present at the scene of the accident, including air units.

According to local police sources, there were several 44-gallon barrels of chemicals that exploded.
