Qatar Chamber recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Regional Network Consultancy (ANC), a member of the Regional Network for Social Responsibility (CSR) for co-operation in training courses.

The signing ceremony, held at the chamber’s Doha headquarters, was attended by Ali Saeed Bu Sherbak al-Mansouri, acting general manager of Qatar Chamber, and Dr Mohamed Saif al-Kuwari, the international ambassador for social responsibility.

The MoU was signed by Hussein Yousef Abdul Ghani, director of the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs at Qatar Chamber, and Dr Ali Abdullah al-Ibrahim general director of the Regional Network Consultancy.

Al-Mansouri said Qatar Chamber welcomes the MoU signing agreement with the Regional Network Consultancy (ANC) for co-operation and coordination for several training courses related to social responsibility.

He added that the chamber is interested in spreading awareness of social responsibility among private sector companies, expressing hope that the courses would positively impact Qatar’s private sector.

For his part, al-Kuwari praised the co-operation with Qatar Chamber, saying he hopes the training courses would contribute to building the capabilities of the Qatari private sector. He noted that the Regional Network Consultancy is a Qatari institution cooperating with international agencies and institutions in 21 countries.
