The Ministry of Labour, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health and Qatar Red Crescent, conducted an awareness workshop for Sea Shore Group workers.

The event introduced participants to the ministry’s e-services, offered guidance on preventing injuries and heat stress at work, and raised their awareness of occupational safety and health.

During the workshop, representatives from the Ministry of Labour’s departments reviewed the recently updated e-services under the ministry’s digital transformation plan. They also addressed workers’ enquiries about the labour sector.

The workshop featured presentations to raise workers’ awareness of the importance of occupational safety and health with a focus on mental health, in addition to training them on proper first aid techniques to prevent work injuries and heat stress.

The workshop is one of many awareness seminars conducted by the Ministry of Labour as part of the ‘Towards a Safe Work Environment’ campaign, aimed to raise awareness among workers on e-services, the importance of following occupational safety and health precautions, and the importance of adhering to workplace safety guidelines.
