A new shipment of aid from Qatar, including 55 tonnes of tents and health supplies, provided by the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), arrived in Jordan by land, in preparation for its entry into the Gaza Strip in co-operation with the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organisation.
The shipment was received by HE the Minister of State for International Co-operation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah bint Rashid AlKhater.
She oversaw the unloading of the shipment at the warehouses of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organisation.
The arrival of the shipment was witnessed by the Official Spokesman and Director of Operations and Consular Affairs at the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Sufyan Qudah, Qatar’s ambassador to Jordan Sheikh Saud bin Nasser al-Thani, and Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organisation Secretary-General Dr Hussein al-Shabli.
