Palestinian medical sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) murdered today at dawn eight Palestinian civilians in the city of Khan Younis and its vicinity, in the southern Gaza strip.
Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) explained that the Israeli occupation artillery targeted the neighborhoods of Tal Al-Hawa, Al-Sabra, Al-Zeytoun, and Sheikh Ajlin in Gaza City, while warplanes conducted two airstrikes on Tal Al-Hawa.
The IOF aircraft bombed a building belonging to the Daghmash family on Al-Maghribi Street in Al-Sabra neighborhood, Wafa said, adding that no injuries were reported.
The IOF military vehicles opened fire with machine guns and deployed illumination flares northwest of Nuseirat refugee camp and north of the Al-Bureij camp in central Gaza.
Wafa also said that the IOF demolished residential buildings east of Khan Younis, causing thick smoke to billow from the area. Concurrently, the IOF warplanes struck the outskirts of Qizan Al-Najjar neighborhood, south of Khan Younis, and fired at homes and properties in the vicinity, Wafa added.
Since October 2023, the Israeli occupation has been committing a genocide against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip, during which the IOF slaughtered more than 39,258 Palestinian civilians and injured more than 90,589 others (most of them children), while thousands of victims remain under the rubble and scattered on the streets, as the IOF has also been preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching the victims.
