A US military helicopter crashed in Kanagawa prefecture, southwest of the Japanese capital Tokyo.
There were no casualties from the crash, Japanese national broadcaster NHK reported. There were no further details of the crash or how it came about. Japan has several US military bases that have thousands of soldiers.
