The Doha Film Institute (DFI) has announced on its website that it is calling all young cinema lovers from the 8 - 25 age group to join as a juror for the Ajyal Film Festival taking place from November 16 - 23.
The event features hands-on workshops, screenings, and discussions to gain invaluable insights from renowned talents. The Ajyal jurors will experience an array of short and feature-length films from around the world and vote to determine the winners of the Ajyal competition.
The Ajyal Jury is split into three categories: Mohaq (New Moon): the youngest jurors, ages 8 - 12, will engage with a mix of short films and four feature films. Hilal (Crescent Moon): jurors aged 13 - 17 will experience four feature films and a selection of shorts. Bader (Full Moon): the programme for jurors aged 18 - 25 features four features and a variety of short films.
