The Roads and Infrastructure in West of Muaither–Al Manaseer (Package 3) is set to serve 671 residential plots while uplifting the infrastructure in the area. Located within the administrative limits of Al Rayyan Municipality, the project covers 1,940,000sq m and is bordered by Muaither North Street to the north and Qutaiba Bin Muslim Street to the south. The project aims to develop roads and infrastructure in the area, the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has said on its website. According to the details on the website, the project is progressing and expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.

​At an estimated cost of QR489,229,511, the project features developing bicycle and pedestrian paths with a length of 46km, constructing 3700 parking slots and developing a Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) plant and stormwater network.

Also, as part of the project, a 30-km-long foul sewer network is developed. Landscaping and beautification are among the key components of the project. As part of the project, trees and grass are planted and a garden at an area of 9,119sq m is built. '

Ashghal has so far completed the first and second packages of the Roads and Infrastructure Project in West Muaither (Al-Manaseer) to serve the medium to high-density residential areas in addition to two schools, The second package of the project serves 25 bus stations, 780 residential plots and nine mosques as well as several commercial and a government centres.

Surface water drainage with a length of 23.7km was developed while the foul sewer network and house connections were upgraded. New light poles were installed and signallised intersections and road pavements were built. Also, landscaping and beautification works were carried out.

The first package included developing 43km of local roads and infrastructure works that provide a treated sewage network and 38 km of surface and groundwater drainage network to avoid rainwater overflow. This is in addition to developing the sewage network. The project aimed to enhance the quality of transportation and traffic flow in the area, in addition to providing street lighting, road marking, signboards, car parks and intelligent transportation systems.
