The Organisation of Islamic Co-operation (OIC) yesterday strongly condemned the Israeli crime of bombing the Al-Tabieen school in the Daraj neighbourhood of Gaza City, killing over 100 civilians and injuring dozens more.In a press statement, the OIC considered this crime an extension of the brutal massacres and genocide committed by the occupation for more than 10 months in the Gaza Strip, in flagrant violation of international law, the orders of the International Court of Justice and relevant UN Security Council resolutions.The organisation held the occupation forces fully responsible for these ongoing crimes, renewing its call to hold Israel, the occupying power, accountable for all war crimes and crimes against humanity it commits in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including the occupied city of Jerusalem.The OIC also called on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to oblige Israel, the occupying power, to respect its obligations under international humanitarian law, impose an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire in the Strip and provide international protection for the Palestinian people.The Muslim World League (MWL) has denounced Israel’s horrific and ongoing barbaric crimes against civilians and civilian facilities, highlighting that these actions constitute a flagrant violation of all international and humanitarian laws and norms.In a statement yesterday the MWL emphasised the urgent need for the international community to take immediate action to halt these massacres, which are perpetuated by the Israeli war machines, and put an end to the systematic crimes against innocent civilians.The Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) has strongly condemned the latest Israeli crime of targeting the UNRWA school sheltering the displaced persons.In a statement yesterday, GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed al-Budaiwi emphasised that the ongoing and violent attacks launched by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian civilians in Gaza and the rest of the Palestinian territories, and their direct targeting of shelters and camps of the displaced, are considered war crimes.“These actions highlight the dangerous criminal approach of the Israeli occupation forces and constitute a blatant violation of international and humanitarian laws and treaties. They disregard all legal, moral, and humanitarian values,” al-Budaiwi said.The statement called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and take immediate and serious action to implement a ceasefire, put an end to the dangerous Israeli military operations, and hold accountable those responsible for these violations.The Arab League has strongly condemned the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces.In a statement yesterday, Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, described the Israeli massacre as a dastardly act, stressing that killing displaced civilians during dawn prayer is a crime that surpasses even the low level typically associated with the occupying army, in terms of its thoroughness in vileness, and lack of conscience.The statement added that the continuation of the genocidal war against the Palestinians is a license for Israel to constantly commit murder and get away with it.It called on the international community to step up real pressures on the Israeli occupation to seriously negotiate through mediators to a reach an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, in exchange for a prisoner swap deal.The Palestinian Presidency has called on the US Administration to immediately compel the Israeli occupation to halt its aggression in the Gaza Strip, as well as massacres against the defenceless Palestinian people and respect the resolutions of international legitimacy.In a statement yesterday, the Palestinian Presidency condemned the new massacre perpetrated by the Israeli occupation forces in a school sheltering displaced people. It held the US Administration responsible for the continuation of this dastardly Israeli aggression on the Strip in its 10th month.The statement deemed this crime as a continuation for the daily massacres committed by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza enclave and the occupied West bank, as part of its intentions to annihilate the Palestinian people through the policy of mass slaughters and daily killings, condemning the suspicious international silence over these relentless Israeli crimes against the Palestinians.Iran condemned a “barbaric” Israeli air strike on the school, calling it a “war crime”.The attack showed once again that Israel “does not respect any of the rules and regulations of international law and moral and human principles,” foreign ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani said in a statement.He said the strike was “a clear example of the simultaneous perpetration of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity” by Israel.Kanani called for “firm action by Muslim and freedom-loving countries around the world to support the Palestinian nation and its legitimate struggles and resistance against the occupation.” (QNA)
