Three Pakistani soldiers and four militants were killed during a security operation carried out by Pakistani army forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Pakistani army said in a statement that their forces carried out a security operation last night in the Tirah Valley area in the region, where an exchange of fire took place between security forces and armed elements, resulting in the killing of three soldiers and four militants.

The area is being cleared to eliminate other militants.
