The announcement was made Sunday at an event attended by OUC officials, students, and faculty. The university offers both undergraduate and post graduate programmes in several advanced topics and many of them are quite unique.

The official opening ceremony of the new campus will be held in January 2025. The new campus spans over 20,000sq m and features an array of modern facilities designed to enhance educational excellence. The development includes advanced research centres, state-of-the-art classrooms, and dedicated spaces for collaborative learning.
Dr Homaid A al-Madfa, chairman of OUC noted: “As we open this new chapter, I invite everyone—students, faculty, partners, and community members—to join us in our mission. Let us continue to push boundaries, challenge conventions, and create a future where education is a force for positive change.”
