A number of Palestinians were killed and others were injured Thursday, including children and women, in an Israeli shelling that targeted a residential apartment in Tal al-Zaatar in Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported, quoting health sources, that a mother and her child were killed in an Israeli shelling that targeted a house belonging to Abu Daqqa family southeast of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.

Additionally, 11 citizens were killed and others were injured, earlier Thursday, in an Israeli shelling that targeted a house in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.

The occupation's intensive, comprehensive and unprecedented aggression on the Gaza Strip has continued since Oct. 7, by launching dozens of airstrikes and shelling by land and sea, leaving tens of thousands of martyrs, wounded and missing, and causing massive destruction to infrastructure and vital facilities, in addition to the unprecedented humanitarian disaster it caused in the Strip as a result of stopping food, water, medicine and fuel supplies due to the occupation's restrictions.
