Two people were killed in a new Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon on Friday.

According to Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA), the Israeli entity carried out a drone strike on the town of Tyr Harfa, killing to people and wounding another.

Earlier today, the Israeli artillery shelled the outskirts of several towns in southern Lebanon, including Kfar Shuba, Kfar Hamam, Naqoura, Alma al-Chaab, Aitaroun and others.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese airspace saw intensive flights of Israeli reconnaissance and drone aircraft over the western and central sectors and the coasts of Naqoura and Tyre.

The Israeli entity has escalated its bombardment of towns and villages in southern Lebanon, leaving deaths and injuries among civilians, and forcing hundreds of families to flee their homes, in conjunction with its ongoing brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7.
