The Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CGB), represented by the Institute of Public Administration, organised on Thursday the institute's meeting for 2024, based on its commitment to the third National Development Strategy 2030-2024. This meeting brought together training officials from various government agencies in Qatar with the aim of enhancing co-operation and sharing visions and directions that support the achievement of national development goals. Addressing the meeting, Acting Director of the Institute of Public Administration, Maha Masoud al-Marri, said the meeting enhances the role of training in building the capacities of government sector employees, as achieving sustainable development in Qatar depends primarily on developing national competencies. The meeting focused on discussing the institute's role in developing human capabilities in the government sector by providing specialised training programmes that are in line with the needs of the state and the aspirations of government sector employees. It also included presentations and discussions on the most prominent achievements and initiatives launched by the Institute of Public Administration, reviewing projects and future directions, and providing a comprehensive vision on the national plan for training and career development. The meeting is an important step towards achieving common goals in enhancing competencies, developing administrative capabilities, and establishing the foundations for fruitful co-operation to build a promising future.
