A delegation from Qatar Charity (QC), led by the Chief Executive’s Assistant for the International Operations and Programmes sector, Nawaf al-Hammadi, has inaugurated several development projects in Kyrgyzstan.

The visit included inspections of completed and ongoing projects as well as a meeting with Kyrgyzstan’s First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev.

The projects, inaugurated with the support of benefactors, included the Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Abdullah Al Thani Mosque in Kara-Balta city, the Ahl Qatar Project (a multi-service complex) in the Tong district of the Issyk-Kul Province, and the Al Rayyan Charity Centre (a multi-service complex) in the Kochkor district of the Naryn Province.

On the first day of the visit by the QC delegation, the Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Abdullah al-Thani Mosque, the fifth-largest mosque in Kyrgyzstan, was inaugurated.

It was built with a donation by Sheikh Faisal bin Khalifa bin Ali al-Thani.

On the second day of the visit, the Ahl Qatar Multi-Service Complex was inaugurated in the Tong District of the Issyk-Kul Province.

The complex includes a mosque, a kindergarten, a school, an orphanage, and a clinic.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by many senior Kyrgyz dignitaries and QC officials.

On the third day of the visit, the delegation inaugurated the Al Rayyan Charity Centre in a village in the Naryn Province.

This multi-service centre was opened in the presence of Qatar’s ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Ali Jaber al-Marri, embassy second secretary Lolwa Abdulrahman Fahad al-Mudahka, al-Hammadi, and the supervisor of the QC’s office in Bishkek Abdul Nasser al-Fakhroo al-Fakhroo, along with Kyrgyz dignitaries.
