Al Dana Centre for Girls, affiliated with the Ministry of Sports and Youth, concluded its summer activities with a grand celebration in the presence of a number of attendees at the Wyndham Grand Regency Hotel.
The programme of the celebration included various activities and the honouring the co-operating parties, organisers and participants from volunteers and affiliates in the summer activities.
Al Dana Centre head Wadha al-Jaber stressed in her speech the institution’s keenness on the diversity of the 2024 summer activities, which targeted different categories and ages of affiliated girls.
She said that the activities offered by Al Dana Centre for the summer period accommodated a large number of participants in various activities, which helped to attract many girls, both Qatari and residents.
They gained skills and experiences as they took part in sports, entertainment, cultural, social and artistic activities, in addition to external trips and field visits.
The celebration included a display of the girls’ most prominent achievements during the summer programme, including sports, artistic and cultural competitions in which they achieved honourable results.
Certificates were distributed and distinguished participants were honoured.
