HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani was elected as president of the Al Duhail Club by acclamation for a new electoral term for the next four years (2024-2028) at the Ordinary General Assembly of the club on Monday.
At the meeting, Ibrahim Khalil al-Mohannadi gave the opening speech of the session on behalf of HE Sheikh Khalifa and then welcomed the attendees. Later, Faisal al-Shaibi, General Manager of the club, opened the discussion of the points included on the agenda of the Ordinary General Assembly, where the minutes of the previous meeting held were approved.
The club president’s report on the club’s activities in the year ending 2023-2024 was also discussed, in addition to approving the final account for the fiscal year 2023-2024 and approving the draft budget for the next fiscal year. The auditor’s report was discussed and approved, in addition to appointing an auditor for a period of one year to audit the club’s activities for the next fiscal year. The formation of the Membership and Elections Affairs Committee was then approved, followed by discussing and approving the club’s strategic plan, in addition to discussing the proposals submitted by the members, and discussing the achievements made last season.
