Ooredoo, Qatar’s leading telecommunications operator and ICT provider honoured its brand ambassador and high jump legend Mutaz Barshim at its headquarters. Barshim earlier this month won his fourth Olympic medal – a bronze at the Paris Games, further solidifying his legacy as a world-class athlete.
Ooredoo Qatar’s CEO Sheikh Ali bin Jabor al-Thani welcomed Barshim and congratulated him on his remarkable achievements, while highlighting his recent win in Paris. Sheikh Ali also praised Barshim for his dedication to raising Qatar’s flag on the global stage and acting as a true inspiration to future generations.
During his visit, Barshim reflected on the support he has received from Ooredoo and expressed his gratitude, stating, “I would like to thank Ooredoo Qatar for their continuous support and dedication throughout my sports journey. As a company that champions innovation and nurtures local talent, it comes as no surprise that they continue to stand by me.”
