Doha set to host Gulf Family Forum

The Gulf Family Forum will be held in Doha Monday, under the slogan "Family is The Treasure of a Nation" with a broad participation of officials, leading family affairs' experts, and social affairs' stakeholders from the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) member states.

Coinciding with the GCC Ministerial Meetings on Civil Service, Labour, and Social Development, the forum, organised by the Ministry of Social Development and Family, will discuss the challenges, aspirations, and Gulf family values and their impact on raising a more productive generation to invest in future opportunities.

Participants will explore the slogan "Family is The Treasure of a Nation" from the perspective of each GCC member state, and promote the cohesiveness of Gulf families. The forum will showcase policy and initiative successes in the field of strengthening family unity and contributing to national development, in addition to covering important and priority issues for those invested in family affairs.

The GCC member states will celebrate the Gulf Family Day on September 14, in a reflection of their conviction in the importance of the family unit, its role in society, and its profound impact on solidifying social stability.
