The Hour and Hour programme's fourth edition of cultural competition under the motto *Think and Answer, held in collaboration with Msheireb Downtown Doha, was a great success, a statement said.

The competition, organised with the "Back to School" theme, enjoyed the participation and interaction of all categories of society, with puzzles and questions presented by media person Mohamed al-Marri.

The event also featured numerous workshops organised by schools and youth centres.

The Friends of the Environment Centre's workshop on the heritage and historical significance of wild plants in Qatar, was followed by a karate demonstration.

Artist Laila Darwish conducted a painting workshop on *My Beautiful School.

Al Jumayliyah Youth Centre's workshop was on traditional games.

A taekwondo demonstration was overseen by instructors Saber bin Abdullah and Samah Hamoudi.

The youth team from Al-Sailiya Sports Club held a workshop on Arabic calligraphy, led by Tariq Abdulrahman.

Al Dana Girls Centre organised a workshop on traditional games, and Al Dhakhira Primary School for Girls presented a performance titled *Haji Lol in collaboration with the Theatre Affairs Centre.

A traditional-style back-to-school greeting card workshop and a storytelling session titled *A Player's Tale were presented by Hessa Lahdan al-Muhannadi, alongside a national anthem performance by students from Al Khor Model School for Boys.

Hour and Hour chief executive Tamani al-Yafei said that the events held in Msheireb in celebration of the back-to-school season were highly received by the community members, with attendance considerably high from all age groups, including children, youth, and people with special needs.

She noted that the "Think and Answer" competition was recently introduced to reinforce and preserve Qatar's authentic heritage through cultural and artistic visions, in collaboration with relevant entities.

The aim is to strengthen partnerships with various community institutions and nurture promising artistic talents through diverse events that clearly link culture with sports and education with heritage.

"The ‘Think and Answer' competition will have upcoming editions, and we look forward to organising it in various parts across the country to ensure access to all parts of society and diversify the participants in the competition," she added.
