A referees assessors seminar involving the member countries of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF), which lasted for three days, concluded on Monday at the InterContinental Doha. The closing ceremony was attended by Hani Taleb Ballan, Chairman of the Referees Committee at Qatar Football Association (QFA), who distributed certificates among the participants in the seminar. International lecturers Ali al-Turaifi and Ismail al-Hafi headlined the seminar with their speeches. Ballan conveyed to them the greetings of President of AGCFF HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed al-Thani and thanked the lecturers for their presence to help develop the refereeing system in the Gulf region. Ballan underlined the support of AGCFF president and urged referees to deliver their best on the field of play during Gulf Clubs Championship, AGCFF League Champions (which will be launched for the first time this year) and the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup, which is scheduled to be held in December this year in the State of Kuwait. Secretary-General of AGCFF Jassim al-Rumaihi was also present.
