The European Union Delegation to Qatar and Zulal Wellness Resort announced the successful conclusion of the 2nd edition of the second part of the (eunited) Summer Camp, held from August 14-25.
This year's camp at Zulal hosted Palestinian children from Gaza, who are currently guests of Qatar, and it was facilitated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Social Development and Family.
The summer camp provided children, aged 12 to 15, with a unique opportunity to engage in a wide range of activities designed to promote personal development and sportsmanship.
In a press statement, EU ambassador Dr Cristian Tudor said: “I am very proud and pleased about the successful conclusion of the second edition of the (eunited) Summer Camp for underprivileged children and that this year was special in hosting Palestinian children from Gaza”.
Holger Glaser, resort manager of Zulal Wellness Resort, said: “We are honoured to have played a part in this remarkable collaboration, providing a nurturing environment for the children to explore their potential."
