M7, Qatars epicenter for innovation and entrepreneurship in fashion, design and technology, announced a series of public programs timed to Ellsworth Kelly at 100, which opens on Oct. 31, 2024.

Organized by Glenstone Museum (Maryland, USA), the exhibition celebrates the American artists centennial and spans his seven-decade career.

The schedule of the program will run from Aug. 2024 to Jan. 2025, and will introduce MENA-region visitors to the artists work and legacy.

The program will cater to a variety of audiences, including emerging and established designers, the general public, schools, children and families as well as community groups. Public programs will include workshops for kids and families, sensory-friendly workshops, engagement opportunities for adults, public lectures, school visits and teacher training, and a special collaborative program looking at Ellsworth Kelly and Islamic design.

The program's schedule includes "M7 Kids Workshop: Nature is the Best Teacher" in September for ages 8-12 years. The workshop explores how Ellsworth Kelly featured elements of the natural world in his work.

Also in September, M7 will host "Creative Skills Development Program: Training of the Trainer" for adult creatives to learn how to plan and facilitate engaging public workshops.

In October, the program includes "M7 Kids Workshop: Color Burst" for ages 6-12 years where they will dive into the vibrant world of Color Burst and investigate how Ellsworth Kelly used color and shape in his practice.

In November, M7 will host "M7 for Educators: Teacher Training and Toolkit Exploration" for educators to learn how to incorporate Ellsworth Kelly at 100 into your lessons. Toolkits will be available for various subjects including design and technology, English language, art, math, and science.

"Color Burst Workshop for Children with Special Needs" will also be organized in November for ages 6-14 years. Inspired by Ellsworth Kellys bold works, this session offers a unique sensory experience.

Also in November, "M7 Kids Workshop: Shapes in Space" will be organized for ages 8-12 years to discover how Ellsworth Kelly explored the relationship between form and space.

In December, M7 will host "Abstraction and Deconstruction Exploration" for ages 8-14 years to explore how Ellsworth Kelly deconstructed and abstracted the world around him.

The program continues in January with "M7 Kids Workshop: Shapes in Space" for ages 8-12 years to discover how Ellsworth Kelly explored the relationship between form and space. Children will delve into Kellys works at the exhibition and learn to build a mobile inspired by his iconic shapes and colors.

Also in January, M7 will host "Color Burst Workshop for Children with Special Needs" for ages 6-14 years where they will dive into the vibrant world of this sensory-friendly edition of Color Burst, a creative workshop
