The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, through its Islamic network (Islamweb) division in the Department of Religious Call and Guidance, has launched a new service offering live fatwas via the Telegram app. This service aims to provide users with easy-to-use platforms and applications, allowing them to access answers and information swiftly and conveniently.

This initiative is part of the ministry's vision to establish the Islamweb site as the primary online reference for reliable Islamic knowledge.

On this occasion, Director of the Department of Religious Call and Guidance at the Ministry, Mal-Allah Abdul Rahman Al Jaber, explained that the department is keen to utilize modern electronic tools to deliver its religious and advocacy messages to the community. The new service facilitates users' access to Islamic rulings and diverse knowledge, contributing to a better quality of life.

The project allows users to communicate directly with a scholar for their religious queries. Users can submit their questions directly through the Islamweb page on Telegram, where scholars will respond directly on the same page or refer to over 300,000 existing fatwas.

Head of the Islamic network division at the Department of Religious Call and Guidance, Abdul Salam Mohamed Al Rajhi, noted that the live fatwa chat service was initially launched on WhatsApp in early June this year. He added that the project expands to a new social media platform, Telegram, through the following link: http://t.me/Islamwebchatbot..
