The second day of ConteQ Expo 24 Tuesday marked the signing of several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). While four MoUs were signed between the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) and Honeywell as well as Schneider Electric. Mannai company signed three MoUs with Stratus and Schneider Electric.

“This groundbreaking event, which has already attracted thousands of visitors, is the epicenter of innovation in the construction and services sectors, showcasing the latest advancements in 3D printing, robotics, drones, and artificial intelligence,” an Ashghal statement said.

The second day hosted a variety of presenters from industry-leading companies on the pitching stage, such as Sika, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Gord, ABB, Ksunry Solution and Snoonu. The topics included Artificial Intelligence in the construction industry, building automation systems, virtualised managed services, cost optimisation, introduction to additive manufacturing, transforming building management and performance with digital twins, most advanced technologies in solar energy, sustainability through systems driven by electric motors and enhancing sustainability through digitisation of field devices.

A total of 24 schools visited ConteQ Expo 24 Tuesday. More than 550 students from preparatory and secondary levels were introduced to the latest technologies and innovations such as 3D printing, robots, AI technology and live demonstrations of drones.

ConteQ Expo 2024 is also described as a vital platform for collaboration and investment. Attendees have been participating in workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions offering insights into the latest industry trends and innovations.
