Qatar University (QU) participated in the Study in Qatar initiative, which took place during the European Conference on International Education 2024 (EAIE), a four-day conference to promote academic co-operation and knowledge exchange in Toulouse, France.QU sought to attract international students to join its diverse range of academic programmes and highlighted its many initiatives, research centres and partnerships, in addition to offering visitors a glimpse into life in the QU campus and Qatar in general.This year, the EAIE included a variety of session formats such as panels, fishbowls, ignite talks, workshops, posters, and campfire discussions. A session titled 'Impact of Rankings on Internationalisation Efforts in the Mena Region,' was presented by QU's International Affairs Office director Cesar Wazen.He detailed QU’s approach to rankings, which garnered significant interest from participants and highlighted how QU successfully maintained its focus on its mission while achieving remarkable results in international rankings.
